Our checklist will help you get ready! PLANNING Mark the loca?on of the conference, as well as your hotel. Familiarize yourself with the venue and plan your routes. Get acquainted with the city. Research coffee shops, restaurants, etc. nearby and plan ahead where you want to visit. Find out who else will be a?ending the conference and reach out to those you want to connect with.   2. Read through the list of events being held at the conference. Get familiar with the agenda and the presenters. There will likely be several panels, workshops, and demos. Don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards. Water Bo?le: A refillable water bo?le is a great way to make sure you remain hydrated and is especially essen?al if you are presen?ng. Gum/Breath Mints: This is a necessity if you want to make a good impression when mee?ng people or presen?ng. Notebook and Pen: If you are old-school, nothing is be?er for making quick notes. DURING THE CONFERENCE Remain op?mis?c and flexible! Especially if you are a?ending a busy or major conference, there may be unexpected delays or cancella?ons. Keep a posi?ve outlook and use this ?me in another produc?ve way. Interact. There will be lots of other healthcare providers at the conference, as well as medical supply reps and experts in their field.
