  1. Who Should I ask so I can Change?

  2. Scenario: Mark’s Problem His dad was upset with him two days ago because he thinks Mark doesn’t know how to organize his time. This is all because he was watching a football game when he had a test the next day.

  3. Mark is upset because he thinks he’s old enough to do what he wants without taking anyone’s advice. He doesn’t agree with what older people say, doesn’t like their opinion, and doesn’t want any advice from them.

  4. Do we sometimes feel the same way as Mark?

  5. A great leader who took advice.... Moses

  6. Quick Summary... What’s the right order? Flees to Midian Nursed by his mother, adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. 7. After this, Moses re-meets his father in law, Jethro. Jethro says “Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.” (Exodus 18:11)

  8. At the time, Moses used to help solve the people’s problems, judge between them, and teach them the statutes of God and His Law. There were SO many people, half a million men (not including women and children)

  9. Moses used t o spend the whole day, from morning till evening, judging between them.

  10. When Jethro saw this, he advised Moses to appoint God fearing men to be judges, some for groups of thousands, others for groups of hundreds, others for fifties, and tens. This way, they can divide up the work, and everyone can go home with any problem settled.
