  1. Daily Life at the Gym By Owen and Asa

  2. Baseball • Baseball is a great American sport that we at Chinook Trail feel is one of the best units in P.E. In baseball, we learn how to pitch, hit and run. When we first walk into the gym we know right away that we’re playing baseball when we see bats and balls in buckets ready for play. We get divided into teams by our coach and head out to the field for play. Once we decide which team is in the field and which team bats we enjoy this American tradition.

  3. Flag Sports • Another unit in P.E. we enjoy is flag sports. These are games we play wearing belts with flags on them. One of our favorites is flag ball in which the field is divided in half and the other team tries to get the ball. If your flag gets pulled you sit down until you get another one. If you happen to steal the ball on the other side you’re able to throw the ball to other team mates to try to get the ball to the other side. This is a fun and competitive unit.

  4. Basketball • Another enjoyable unit is basketball. In this unit we learn how to dribble, shoot and pass the ball. Basketball is a sport where you bounce a ball until you get to the hoop where you throw it in. In our school, as well as learning how to dribble, we also play.

  5. Floor Hockey • Hockey is a fascinating sport. Although it takes a lot of skill. The first thing you learn is how to pass. If you don’t pass you’re most likely to lose. In this sport you have to be a team player and very strategic. It requires a stick and a small ball. It is similar to soccer because you hit the ball in the goal.

  6. Thank You! • These are just a few of our favorite units in P.E. Thanks for watching!
