  2. How to Create a Hangout on Air a. Google+ Home Page • Home Drop Down Box • Hangout on Air Link • Start a Hangout On Air • Naming Your Hangout On Air Event • Share the Class/Event • Hangout Screen • Copy the Link • Hangout Window

  3. a. Google+ Home Page • The first step to setting up your Live Class/Event is to go to your Google+ Home page • Click on the link marked Home which is located on the left side of the page

  4. b. Google+ Home Page Drop Down Box • In the Home Link Drop Down box click on the Hangouts Link

  5. c. Start a Hangout On Air • Click on the Start a Hangout On Air Link • This will take you to the page where you can label your Class/Event

  6. d. Naming Your Hangout On Air Event • In this drop down box you can add the name of the Class/Event • The description of the Class/Event • The time of the event (Now or Later) • The Audience of your event (Public or invited guest only)

  7. e. Share the Class/Event • Click on the Share link

  8. f. Hangout Screen • On your Google+ page a Video screen prompt will appear • Click on the start link • This will launch your Hangout window and provide you with the link for your Class/Event

  9. h. Hangout Window • When the Hangout launches move your cursor anywhere across the screen and the controls for hangout will pop up on the left side of the screen

  10. g. 24/7 Hangout App. Link to URL • Click on the blue link that represents the 247Hangout app. • Email the URL address on the right side of the screen to your guest, so they can join your Class/Event • Click on Start broadcast to broadcast your class live!
