Remember Lot's Wife • Luke 17:28-32 • 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot's wife.

She looked back • Many wonder WHY she looked back • She looked back at a sinful city • Did she regret leaving? • Just sad at loosing her possessions • Luke 9:62 But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

  9. We Must Remember Lot's Wife • 5. She suffered the consequences • She turned to a pillar of salt • Saul – lost his kingdom, family and life • Moses – did not enter promised land • David – lost his infant son • Nadab and Abihu – lost their lives

  10. Remember Lot's Wife • The pillar is a reminder • God has always demanded obedience • There are always consequences for our disobedience REMEMBERLOT'S WIFE!
