  8. Beginning in 2013 – 2014 PED will not be collecting data using the MS Access Membership Projections and Training and Experience programs. These collections will now be performed over the internet. What is changing

  9. Why PED is Changing Platforms We had problems Districts using differing Operating Systems Districts had multiple Access versions Districts had to buy MS Access Needed to know a bit about PC folders Email transfer of data Difficult process steps Difficult to upgrade

Why PED is Changing Platforms Internet - Solutions Runs on any OS (Apple / Windows) Does not require MS Access Easily accessed over the internet No need to know about PC folders No need to transfer data using email Automatic Email notification upon approval Easier process steps Easily upgraded

  11. What Browsers Can Be Used • Browsers • Internet Explorer (Absolutely supported) • Safari (Seems to work ok) • Firefox (May not work) • Chrome (May not work)

Membership Projections Step 1 – Using a web browser go to the Projected Membership website. https://eui.ped.state.nm.us/sites/SchBudProjMem/SitePages/default.aspx The Website address will also be on PED’s School Budget and Finance Analysis Bureau Web Page. http://ped.state.nm.us/div/fin/school.budget/index.html

  14. Membership Projections Step 2 – Sign in The user id is your email address.

  15. Membership Projections District Select School Select Grades Select Mem Enter

  16. Membership Projections Step 3 – Click on the Edit Icon You will only see the districts to which you are authorized.

  17. Membership Projections Step 4 – Click on the Edit Icon to select a school to enter Membership

  18. Membership Projections If a school has a grade not listed in the school list, or a school is missing, email Jesse Kain (douglas.kain@state.nm.us). Please review all schools before calling.

  19. Membership Projections Step 5 – Select Grade

  20. Membership Projections Step 6 – Enter Grade Membership Click save after entering the data.

  21. Membership Projections Step 7– Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all grades have been entered.

  22. Membership Projections Step 8 - Click on Save to return to the list of schools

  23. Membership Projections Step 9– Repeat steps 4thru 8 until all Schools have been entered.

  24. Membership Projections Step 10 – Enter your A/B MEM and Ancillary FTE

  25. Membership Projections Step 11 – Approve Projected Membership. (Optional, you may want to print the report first) Approving the report will automatically send an email to PED (and copy you) telling PED to review your submission.

  27. Membership Projections Step 13 – Go to the report menu

  28. Membership Projections Step 14 – Run and print Certification Report Click on the report name to run the report

  29. Membership Projections Step 15 – Select Year (2014-2015) and District

  30. Membership Projections Step 16 – Run the report

  31. Membership Projections Step 17 – Click on Actions then Print to print the report

  32. Membership Projections Step 18 – Click the back button on your browser to return to the site.

  33. Membership Projections Step 19 – Sign (superintendent or designee) and scan and email or fax the report. (505-827-9931)
