  1. NICKO-SHIELD 100 PRODUCT INFORMATION Justin Cheney, PhD CTO April 28, 2011

  2. PRODUCT OVERVIEW • NICKO-SHIELD 100: • Exceptional Coating Adhesion Insures Reliable Corrosion Protection and Resistance to Spalling, Coating Failure • Designed to Protect Refinery Vessels in Liquid Phase Condensing Acid Environments • Extremely Low Porosity for Extremely Low Permeability • Austenitic Nickel As-Sprayed Coating Matches Thermal Expansion Coefficient of Carbon Steels • Twin Wire Arc Spray Product Available in 0.045” and 1/16” diameter

  3. COATING ADHESION: INSURE COATING RELIABILITY Nicko-Shield 100 has the exceptional adhesion strength surpassing conventional and advanced corrosion resistant TWAS coatings per ASTM C633 HVAS = High Velocity Air Spray, PC = Powder Combustion

  4. CORROSION RESISTANCE Simulated Refinery Vessel Testing Nicko-Shield 100 coating surface after exposure Nicko-Shield 100 corrosion performance exceeds more costly High Velocity Air Fuel Alloy C276 Coatings per ASTM G31 2 wk. exposure to 96% H2SO4 at 350oF

  5. COATING INTEGRITY .03” .03” Nicko-Shield 100 Coating Alloy C276 100 Coating Nicko-Shield 100 has reduced porosity and oxide content providing an effective non-permeable barrier to corrosion

  6.
