Inserm-Transfert SA • Private subsidiary of the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Inserm) • Created by Inserm in 2001, funded up to 4,5 M€ by Inserm and comprising actually 50 people • Increase researchers’ awareness of technology transfer and company creation • Identification and promotion of innovative projects emerging from Inserm’s laboratories • Launch of a new seed fund called “Inserm-Transfert Initiative” with three major investors in the biotech field (Sofinnova, Ventech, CDC Entreprise) - Capital amount = 4.2 M€
