  2. How do I get started with… To begin, search for the Skitch app in the App Store on your iPad or visit skitch.comfor information on downloading the app for your Mac or Android phone. Download the app. Follow the quick and easy steps on the following slides. Have fun!

  3. This is the Skitch home Page. The easiest way to begin Is to select the Photos button. The app will then pull up your photo stream.

  4. Choose a picture from anywhere in your photo archive.

  5. Your picture will appear in this screen. The annotating tools will appear in a side bar on the left as shown.

  6. The top three icons are navigational. The third icon is the most valuable. It allows you to email, tweet, save your photo, or view it on an Apple TV.

  7. These are the FUN buttons! Choose any button to annotate your photo.

  8. You may crop your picture at any time. • Be sure to set color and thickness each time you change tools. • Don’t like what you see? You can trash single items or choose all.

  9. If you choose the crop tool, this window will pop up. Drag the dots to frame your picture and hit “crop.”

  10. Voila! You have annotated your first picture!

  11. You can annotate an image from a website by choosing the web button on the home page and entering a URL or searching. When you have found your image, hit the snapshot icon located below the home icon.

  12. The chosen image will appear in the tool screen and you can annotate it the same way you did one of your photos.

  13. Tapping the “map” button on the home screen will bring up this map. You can move it, turn it, and zoom in using your fingers. When you have positioned the map, tap the middle icon in the tool bar.

  14. The map will then appear in the tool screen ready for annotation!

  15. Selecting the blank icon on the home page provides you with a blank page in the tool screen upon which to test your artistic talents! Don’t forget to save your work each time you annotate a picture! Now, are you ready for Skitch? Visit the Skitch website to learn more.
