    3. Slide 3 9 months prior to mobilization Do I have all the Marines/Sailors I need? What is my T/O? What is the Manning Doc requirement? No T/O, no Manning Doc, No service!!!! Cross level in the MSC (Bn/Sqdn, Regt/Group) Submit msg via chain of command to MFR G-1 requesting sourcing for valid shortfalls Include mob date, ILOC, ILOC report date, and POC

    4. Slide 4 MFR G-1 Sourcing Cell will assist by advertising and recruiting to your shortfalls MFR Website for solicitation RQS’s received provided to your unit You make the hiring decision. Generate orders Join to unit, IUT, Admin Join, or IRR (Vol only)

NAME/GRADE/TITLE OF GO OR DEP COS THAT VALIDATES REQR.

    8. Slide 8 LESSONS LEARNED / POC’s If a By-Name candidate has been identified ensure the Marine meets the BIC qualifications, as this could result in the RTN being denied. If the P/WST billet is IMA ensure the By-Name candidate has the BIC assigned to them via 3270 prior to submission. Additionally, it is further recommended that the requesting units actively pursue the status of their requests via the chain of command in order to prevent miscommunication. It remains imperative that careful review of the BIC and the info submitted should happen with each level of submission.     10. Slide 10 COMMARFORRES – all SMCR units in Direct Support of the GWOT/OCO IRR Marines not joining directly to activating unit will be Admin Joined to closest SMCR unit to current residence. (SMCR vols also) MFR will release an “Admin Join Procedure” message that clearly explains the process (as required) Generate orders using MOBMCC of supported unit Does not count against unit T/O Family Support

Slide 11 Casualty Replacements/Follow On Forces Fully trained Reserve Marines can be deployed OCONUS after the unit’s initial deployment in theater, however no activated Marines will remain behind at the HTC/RTC after the time of deployment.
