house industrial workers.

early part of the 20th century. They were built

to house wealthier people. Compare these with

the houses in the previous photograph.


This is a pup which has been modernised.

Can you see the extension? Compare the ground

floor with the rest of the building. Can you see

similarities with the previous houses?

during the 1930's. What materials were used to
