  2. Whofights? Every plant (or animal) has to fight for surviving! Roberta Conti

  3. A lot of seeds, but a lot of enemies too! Roberta Conti

  4. Only few seeds will bud in new plants. Roberta Conti

  5. If the seeds fall down in the flower bed, they find soon who will stop their development. Roberta Conti

  6. The seeds that fall in the pond become fishes and birds food. Roberta Conti

  7. Who take care of the garden pulls up every unexpected bud. Roberta Conti

  8. The unluky seed that falls down on the asphalt can’t bud, of course, and dies. Roberta Conti

  9. At last there is a place for everyone! In the not cultivated field every seed can develop….if an animal doesn’t eat it, obviously!! Roberta Conti

  10. Let’s play: We need: • Game table; • A paper tree; • The paper seeds (25); • A dice. Roberta Conti Roberta Conti

  11. 1) Put the tree in the middle of the “lands”. Roberta Conti

  12. 2) Place the seeds on the top of the tree. Roberta Conti

  13. 3) Blow on the seeds, so they will fall down. Roberta Conti

  14. 4)Take away every seed that isn’t in the not cultivated field (asphalt, garden, flower bed, pond) and count them. Roberta Conti

  15. 5) Foreveryseedthat • is in the notcultivated • fieldthrow the dice • and ifyouobtain: • 1 – the seeddiesbecauseofanherbicide; • 2 – the seeddiesbecauseofdrought; • 3 – the seedsurvivesbecauseof the warm and wetwheater; • 4 – the seeddiesbecauseofice; • 5 - the seedsurvivesbecause a child take care ofit; • 6 – the seedbecomesfoodfor a mouse and die.   16. Now, play more three times being carefull to blowing on the seeds from different directions to do not create advantages to the various environments. At the end you will have played with 100 seeds. Roberta Conti

  17. With the collected datas you can build a graph like this one to show the results in percentage: “Only few seeds survive!”

  18. If you want you con also play with friends!!! Wins the game who is able to let survive the more seeds that is possible. Roberta Conti
