  2. BISHOP’S PALACE – THE HOUSE AT NIGHT TOUR • October 28 & 29 – 8 pm • $15 per person • 1402 Broadway, Galveston, TX • Enjoy Bishop’s Palace by candlelight for this unique evening tour. Learn about the history of Bishop’s Palace, it’s presence during the 1900 Storm and take a glimpse at early 1900 life.

  3. Fall 2011 Bishop's Palace Volunteer Information • Two mornings or afternoons a month • Volunteers with an interest in history and who enjoy working with a diverse range of people are needed. • Looks great as volunteer hours on CV • Galvestonhistory.org for more info

Two Humanities Positions Openat Lone Star College System • Required Qualifications • Master's degree in Humanities, Liberal Arts, Art History, or a Master's degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester hours from: Philosophy, English Literature, Arts, History, and Humanities. • LSC-Online certification or a commitment to obtain certification through Lone Star College System within 12 months of employment. • Application Process ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY ON-LINE.
