  6. Things We Do Well SMEs in developing and delivering non-kinetic based training • Serious Games • Cinematics • Blended Virtual Training Products Develop, translate, and integrate virtual training environments that support customer training requirements • Customer focused – “help solve your riddle” • Continuous improvement of training products – enduring relationship

  7. Things We Do Well Build flexible object-oriented solutions • Focus on reuse and ability to scale • Execute a cost avoidance model • Separation between presentation layer and data Innovate to solve complex problems • Proper use of behavioral / modeling engines • Paring appropriate technology to customer’s strategy

  8. Product Overview • Cinematics • Visualization • Virtual Training Environment • Simulation Based Training System • Standalone PC Simulator (UVEE v2) • Serious Games • Avatar-based training environment / Virtual Coach • Modeling and Simulation • Collaborative collective training • Nodal Network Simulator (NNS)

  9. Cinematics JANUS’ visualization training products can be subdivided into three content types, JANUS mixes and matches these content types to provide the most engaging presentation of training material for a given cinematic product: • Video • Visualization • 3D sequence

  10. UVEE Virtual Training Environment - Standalone PC Simulations Simulation based training offers advantages over traditional training: • Simulation training updates keep pace with changes in TTPs and systems upgrades • Increase trainee access to equipment that is expensive or has limited availability • Provides a realistic 3D environment that mirrors the real world, “learner centric” training Primary Lesson Types • Familiarize, Acquire, Practice and Validate • 3D virtual environment simulators • Terminal simulators • Software simulator • Knowledge Based - traditional training material • Provides IMI level 1-3 simulation

  11. Serious Games Designed to present realistic settings for trainees to learn concepts, ideas and procedures through a game character and fully interactive 3D training environment. • Avatar-based full free play environment • Benchmark experience level • JANUS leverages the technology, design principles and best practices established by the video games industry to develop Serious Games.

  12. Modeling and Simulation (collective training) • A collaborative virtual training environment that utilizes advanced training technologies and provides collective student training, supervisor/manager training, as well as instructor interactions. • System scales easily to address the following training needs (LAN/WAN) • Classroom instruction • Sustainment training • NET Capstone Exercises • War gaming simulations • System reuses components from the PC Simulator which reduces development time and cost • The Core of the system is a behavioral model engine which provides full IMI Level 4 interactivity

  13. Virtual Training Products – Communications Community • SecteraGSM Phone • Network Operations Center Vehicular • Tactical Satellite Terminal (Spring 2005) • Joint Network Node (SEP 2005) • BN Command Post Node (SEP 2005) • Ku Band TACSAT System (SEP 2005) • Tactical Hub Node (FEB 2006) • SATCOM HUB NODE (NOV 2006) • Nodal Network Simulator (OCT 2006 - 2009) • JNN-N Lot 5-7 Maintenance (SEP 2007) • JNN-N Lot 8&9 Maintenance (NOV 2007) • SAMS-E (SEPT 2010) • A2C2S Operator/Battle Staff (FEB 2007) • Marine Corps SWAN/ Updates (Fall 2007-08) • ARNG G4 Log Enablers Cinematic • (JUN 2010) • MET Terminal (Spring 2011) • JNN-N Lot 5-7 Maintenance (SEP 2007) • JNN-N Lot 8&9 Maintenance (NOV 2007) • SSS V3 (FEB 2008) • WIN-T INC1 (DEC 2008) • WIN-T INC2 (FEB 2009) • SATCOM OPERATORS COURSE • (MAY 2010) • WIN-T INC2 LRIP (FALL 2010) • Base Band Node (USARPAC)
