Changes to CSICSI Data Reporting Goals • To further the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) vision of transformation by collecting relevant data on all services. • To revise and update the existing Client Services Information (CSI) System. • To develop the capacity to report the Uniform Reporting System (URS) data to CMHS.

  6. A. Changes to CSIDMH Preparations for Changes in CSI Reporting We must make changes to: • The processing of incoming CSI data • CSI System Documentation • Data model for DMH statistical reporting database

  7. A. Changes to CSIDMH Preparations for Changes in CSI Reporting In addition, we must: • Notify counties of changes to CSI reporting • Train county mental health staff and DMH staff on changes to CSI

Changes to CSICounty Preparations for Changes in CSI Reporting • County data submission to CSI must be current to June 2006 • MHSA-required CSI data collected for all services (MHSA or not MHSA services), and for all consumers (MHSA FSPs and all other county mental health consumers). • County must pass the DMH CSI submission testing process.

  19. B. Integrating CSI Changes • County mental health staff and DMH staff will work together to implement the changes during this year. • We hope the impact of these changes on the counties will not be heavy.
