Make a small column on the left. • In the small column, write the following names: • Hobbes • Locke • Voltaire • Rousseau • Montesquieu • In your group, use your notes/text book to describe each Enlightenment thinker’s ideas about gov’t

Enlightenment Thinkers Role Play • In your group, choose one member to role play the Enlightenment Thinker your group has been assigned. • Work in your group to create a short statement about your Enlightenment Thinker’s ideas about gov’t. Make sure to include the following: • Name • Country • Ideas • Influence on democracy

Venn Diagram of American & French Revolution • In your note book, turn it side ways and draw a very large Venn Diagram • Label the left circle “American Revolution” • Label the middle “Both” • Label the right circle “French Revolution” • Use your textbook to fill in the Venn diagram to compare the American Revolution to the French Revolution
