  4. VILNIAUS ENERGIJA Amount of heat AMOUNT OF HEAT – energy transferred by means of heat exchange. 1kcal is necessary for increasing of 1 water liter temperature by 1º! 1kcal =0.001163 kWor1kcal = 4186.8 J In SI system the heat amount measurementunit is joule [J]. In practice watt-hours [Wh], kilowatt-hours and megawatt-hours are used.

  5. Heat price = Heating Price The price for1 kilowatt-hour of District Heating: VILNIAUS ENERGIJA • Heating fee = Number of kilowatt-hours x price of 1 kilowatt-hour

  6. VILNIAUS ENERGIJA Heating of apartments INLET COUNTER Data acquired manually or by remote control 1) CIRCULATION Data acquired by applying theoretical calculations Heating of common premises 2) HOT WATER Data acquired from hot-water counter readings Hot water production Data sources: a) Available data in square capacity of premises and heating devices b) Readings of counters c) Readings of alocators HEATING Circulation (coil-pipe) Principal diagram of domestic heating and circulation systems. 17. VILNIAUS ENERGIJA Conclusions A. Sooner or later the heating prices in Europe will be equal. B. Following the statistical data, Lithuania undergoes losses in the amount of 0.7 million EUR within one day of the heating season. This considerable amount of losses occure due to irrational use of heat energy, poor attitude towards the renovation of buildings and engineering systems, etc. Therefore according to the Conclusion A, it is possible to forecast that the losses will be increasing.

  18. VILNIAUS ENERGIJA Renovation without delays!
