Acts 17:32-34 32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, "We will hear you again on this matter." 33 So Paul departed from among them. 34 However, some men joined him and believed, among them Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

  • Mock = play like a child, sport, tease, jest, ridicule, make fun of another

  • Christ was mocked – Luke 23:36

  • Today – Bullying is the word

But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God." 36 The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, 37 and saying, "If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself."

  • Don't decide too quickly – good to a point

  • Agrippa – Acts 26:28 – Almost persuaded

  • Felix – Acts 24:25 – More convienent time

  • Wait too long = Too late

  • Make sure you are ready to commit

  • Many keep on waiting for more information, have questions that are not relavant
