Summary • Air Event not useful for an estimate of T cleaning efficiency • air leads to complicated chemistry involving N, O and C • event is badly diagnosed, QMB was closed • surface temperatures were too low, 200C instead of 350C • Air Event indicates reasonable possibilty of recovery • event was not immediately recognised • full recovery after 2 nights of D2 GDC and 1 day DC • Preliminary diagnosis • during air GD NO, CO2 (N2O) are formed • NO adsorbes at the walls and desorbes during discharges • memory effect even at the end of second day
