Dr. Ben Ramaley

An experienced gynecologist, Dr. Ben Ramaley currently treats patients at Southport Women’s Healthcare in Connecticut. He holds special expertise in the life stages of menopause and adolescence. On an average day, Dr. Ben Ramaley consults with 40 patients at the practice. Licensed in Connecticut, he also provides care at two local hospitals in Bridgeport and Greenwich. He has worked in medicine for more than 30 years. Dr. Ramaley and his colleagues at Southport Women’s Healthcare provide counseling and care for midlife issues, and advice on family planning, nutritional supplements, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Ben Ramaley supports the local community by serving as a Director on the Board of Greenwich Water Polo Club. He also contributes to St. Clement’s Church and Sisters of the Charity of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament. He enjoys gardening and playing sports, such as golf and softball, in his down time. A Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ben Ramaley participates in professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels. He attends events from the Fairfield County Medical Association, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. Born in San Francisco, Dr. Ben Ramaley pursued his college education in the Midwest. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ohio State University. Subsequently, he enrolled in the University of Illinois and attended the College of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine. He moved to New York City to complete his training, interning at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Dr. Ben Ramaley also finished an OB-GYN residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
