  2. A&E available at: Chase Farm QEII Barnet Hospital Watford General

  3. 13 Practices within Hertsmere which include 64 GP’s, 30 Practice Nurses who are located: 4 in Borehamwood, 2 in Bushey, 1 in Elstree, 3 in Potters Bar, 2 in Radlett, 1 in Shenley

  4. District Nurses and Health Visitors are based at Potters Bar Community Hospital Elms Clinic Potters Bar, and Elstree Way Clinic Borehamwood HV’s also work within Practices at allocated times.

  5. There are approximately 20 pharmacies in Hertsmere these range from small local community stores to those placed within large supermarkets. There are also approximately 20 dentists and 9 opticians.

  6. Outreach clinics are based at Little Bushey, Wellswood and Potters Bar Community Hospital. Services include: Little Bushey: Gynaecology Physio Wellswood: Dermatology Gynaecology Urology Phlebotomy PBCH: Dermatology GPSI Gynaecology Cardiology Rhumatology Medicine GI Surgery Vascular Paeds ENT Ortho Urology

  7. As of December 2002 there were 10 Nursing Homes & 25 Residential Homes within Hertsmere.
