  26. SRS Earth Stations • 37-38 GHz • Support manned near Earth and deep space missions • WRC-12 decided • To exclude aeronautical mobile service from this band to protect these space applications

  28. Radiodetermination Satellite Service (RDSS) • 2483.5-2500 MHz • Interest to provide global services • Harmonized regulatory framework • New allocation • WRC-12 decided to harmonize 2.5GHz band • New primary allocation for Region 1 • Upgrade RDSS allocation in the same band in Region 3.

  29. Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) Increased use for telephony and data applications Development constrained due to lack of spectrum Difficult to find additional allocation in 4-16 GHz WRC-15 Agenda Item looking at 22-26 GHz
