Area Forum Small Grants Budget of £7,000 each year for each Area Forum Maximum grant of £500 for: - start up costs for new groups - building stronger neighbourhoods - encouraging increased resident engagement Funding for 3 consecutive years only Applications considered at July, November & March Area Forums Next closing date: October 2013

  3. Hounslow Community Grant Revenue funding of up to £15,000 – includes core costs Themes: • Promoting community development & volunteering • Connecting communities (positive relationships; cohesion) • Supporting vulnerable communities Closing date for Round 2: 12 noon, 17 June, 2013

  4. Hounslow Innovation Grant Revenue funding of up to £40k to support • Innovative services / projects to meet emerging social needs • Prevention and early intervention and providing better outcomes for residents • Manage service or organisational change in response to changes in funding or service user needs • New forms of income generation to improve the sustainability and independence of sector Applications: Launch in July; closing in September; decision late November

Community Youth Fund Grants of up to £2,500 to support 10+ projects • Support local communities and the VCS to work with and support young people • Support children and young people by enabling them to apply for funding to develop local projects and / or activities that would not otherwise be available Applications can be made by a group of young people using a local organisation to support their bid (Accountable Body role) or the VCS working with a group of young people. Young people must play a lead role. Applications: Launch in July; closing in September; decision late November

Stabilisation Fund Grants of £5,000 for small to medium Hounslow VCS (up to £15K can be considered for medium VCS) to • Ensure that valuable services and activities are maintained, where there is a clear need for such services to continue • Support groups with viable business plans to avoid closure and become sustainable in the longer term. Grant can be spent on specialist advice (e.g. regarding mergers or administration), training or specialist support packages, or in certain conditions to provide bridge funding. Conditions: evidence need; sustainability plan; must deliver required outcomes; not last minute crisis funding.
