  1. Millions of homes will be room-to-room connected soon… including yours! Only one method is low-cost & high-speed enough, without having to lay any new cables. But, you had only one ‘reluctant’ choice! • Co-ax or fiber-optics cable – too costly & messy to lay new cables • LAN-cable – too messy to lay new cables • WiFi – wireless but not high-speed enough for multi-room games & HD-TV • Power Line Communications (PLC) – easy setup, promises of high-speed & low-cost,reluctant choice!

PLC – why reluctant choice? • No new wires to lay = low-cost for whole-house coverage • Easy to setup = convenience • Promise of high-speed = good enough for games & HD-TV • Probably faster & more secure than Wi-Fi But these limitations need to be removed: • Real-life speedsfar below advertised, theoretical speeds; • Highly dependent on power-line noise-conditions; • Could not share a power-outlet with interconnected equipment; • Could not be used with lightning protection device *Such inherent problems have kept PLC in niche-markets, so far. But, CAL-LAB’s add-on PLC-CLLI will remove all these limitations!
