  3. Mission
  4. Mission Statement Putting faith into action, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County promotes family stability by providing innovative and affordable housing solutions to qualified individuals and families. In partnership with our community, we work toward our ultimate goal of eliminating substandard housing throughout the county.
  5. How Abitat Work? Habitat’s unique and sensible formula makes it possible for limited-income households to own a home they can afford. With volunteer labor and local donations of money and some in-kind materials, Habitat Pinellas builds and rehabilitates houses with the help of the homeowner families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families or individuals at no profit and financed with zero-interest loans. Building Locally Building Globally Building with Dignity Building with YOU
  6. Donates
  7. We Need Donates? Yes, because is about that help, donation to Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County matters! Each gift supports a family in need of decent, affordable housing right here in our community. Many of them are in our program and waiting for their opportunity. Please join us in bringing more families—more children—the legacy of homeownership.
  8. Bank of America Charitable Foundation has been a strong annual supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County with donations totaling over $370,000 since 2006. This home donation, which is now the Munnerlyn family home, is in addition to a $55,000 grant from Bank of America to help Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County fund construction of another new home for a qualified homeowner in the Tampa Bay area. Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County has received seven low-value or of-value distressed property donations from Bank of America over the past year.
  9. Early Tuesday morning, we were delighted to receive a $15,000 check from our friends at Wells Fargo. The check was presented to our interim CEO, Ron Spoor, by Eric Sharpe, senior vice president, Machelle Manor, vice president community development and Debra Kent Faulk, community affairs officer.

  11. Why Need Volunteer? Volunteer opportunities make it possible for thousands of people to get active in our community and make a difference in the lives of children and families. Building a new home takes time and money, but seeing a family get the key to a home you helped build is inspiring. Come out and volunteer. Come make a difference.
