The ElectricalThermographyservestodetect thermal anomalies in electricalinstallations.

Electricalinstallationsandfacilitiesareflownthroughby a loadcurrent. On theonehandtherearethe „natural“ innerresistancesand on theothersidecontactresistances. These resistancesleadto a heatingupofthecomponents. The maintaskoftheelectricalthermographyisto find defectiveelectricalconnectionsandtolocalizeanomaliesofoverload on wires, componentsandswitchboards.
