  2. Program Overview • 11 month program • K-12 administrator certification • Weekly 1-hour seminar prior to scheduled 5-week course • Classes held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. • (2)108-hour (minimum) internships • Placements are completed

Overview cont’d • Program philosophy based on Effective Schools Correlates • Evaluation instruments based on ISLLC/ELCC • The evaluation instruments are located in the RMC Mentor/Supervisor Handbook. The instruments are submitted 4 times a year • The submittal dates are: Mid-terms…Friday, October 14th and Friday, February 25th; End of semester submittal…Friday, December 9th and Friday, June 15th • Evaluation instruments go to Christine Unquera at unquerac@rocky.edu

  4. Evaluation Instruments • Intern Log….Students keep the log to record the activities/projects/tasks, etc. as they align to each of the ISLLC Standards. Mentors and supervisors check in periodically with the intern to make sure this log is completed • Problem Based Rubric…Is used primarily to provide feedback to students on coursework assignments. There are two parts to the rubric…a Process Rubric…and a Product Rubric. Interns will share a copy of this feedback tool with you. Students also participate in a great deal of self-assessment and reflection as part of the feedback process. • Mid-term and Semester Instruments..These forms are completed by the RMC College Supervisor with input from the building mentor.
