  1. Egg Lab In this lab you will submerse an egg into three substances for 2-3 days each. First, you will place the egg in 100 ml of vinegar. Next, you will place the egg into 100 ml of syrup. Finally, the egg will be immersed into 100 ml of H2O. You will need to record the amount of liquid you place into the cup, as well as the amount of liquid taken out of the cup. Mass of the egg will need to be taken at each step.

  2. Egg Lab What is the operational definition of the dependent variable in this lab? How did you conclude whether the solutions you tested were hypotonic, hypertonic, or isotonic? What were the independent and dependent variables in this experiment? Calculate the change in mass of the egg. Explain how this may relate to your findings. Using your data table – Graph your data NEATLY!
