  2. Summary Tess is a 11 year old girl living on an island in Maine. She gets a foster kid named Aaron and he doesn’t talk a lot. Tess’s school is about to get shut down so that means she will have to move! Tess doesn’t want to move so she is trying to help save her school. Find out what happens with Tess.   3. Diary Entry (Response) Dear Diary, It’s me Aaron. I just got to Tess’s house and she seems like a really nice girl. I’m just shy and I don’t know what to say. It seems kind of awkward. I met her little sister Libby and she keeps asking me to play Monopoly with her. Tess told me that if you have red hair on a boat it’s bad luck. But I’m not to worried about that. Tess caught a really cool lobster and it’s blue! So hopefully my life will be ok here. Sincerely, Aaron

  4. Exploration For my exploration I brought in chocolate chips. I brought them in because one of the main character in my book Aaron, his favorite ice cream is chocolate chips. So I decided to bring in chocolate chips! Enjoy!!
