  1. Sherry Marshall About me...

  2. Family I have one son, Eric He is 21 He lives in Huntsville He is “The Panda”

  3. I also have a nearly adopted daughter, Rhonda Rhonda came officially into my partial care in 2003 She is now 27 and lives in Gonzales She has three wonderful children I consider my “grandkids” - Bryce, Bethani, and Mikayla I’ve also been accused of “expanding” my family lately… spending time with a wonderful man and his daughter. Plus one adopted drum major!

  4. Home Sweet Home(s) I have a little corner of a family ranch in Stockdale, Texas. At this point, it is my “weekend home” since I teach about 1 ½ hours away. While I am still working, I will be moving my grandparents’ farmhouse to my own piece of land and restoring it. I just bought a small house in the little town where I teach, and plan to live there for the remainder of my teaching years while working on the farmhouse. I have two dogs (a golden retriever and a husky) and one cat that live on the farm, and one Maine Coon cat that lives with me at the coast. ...and you can’t forget the sheep...

  5. And then there’s all those adopted band kids! Life would be so boring without them! https://youtu.be/MQfjh4d5UYw Band kids having fun on the high school band trip to my parents’ house in May 2016.

  6. Career... • I began teaching in 2002 after graduating from Texas State University. I also attended Texas Christian University and San Antonio College. • My first job was teaching reading at Gonzales High School in Gonzales, Texas. During that time, I was also a part-time assistant band director. • I moved from there to teaching band at Karnes City Junior High and High School in Karnes City, Texas. I also taught reading and English part time. • After a bad car accident, I taught Pre-K for three years at Karnes City. During this time, I completed my first master’s degree in English at Texas A&M University San Antonio. • Three years ago, I returned to teaching 5th through 12th grade band & Music at Woodsboro ISD. I also teach dual credit and freshman English for Coastal Bend College.
