Latvian Labour Market: Conclusion • The smallest unemployment rate was in Year 2008 – 5 %, the biggest one in Year 2010 – 16,6 %, tendency in Year 2012 – reduction every month by 0,2-0,3 % • People with Professional Education are the most needed in work, privelege – people with Higher Education, mostly – men • The number of registered unemployed persons exceed the number of vacancies – the 33 unemployed aspire to 1 vacancy in December, 2012 • The most requested jobs are in category “Sales” and “Customer Service” 18
