Vision ICT in Learning Vision: Scotland’s educators, learners and parents take full advantage of the opportunities offered by technology in order to raise attainment, ambition and opportunities for all. Curriculum for Excellence: Children and young people will develop a range of ICT skills. There are opportunities for all teachers, in all sectors, in all departments and in all settings to apply, reinforce and develop these skills to equip children and young people for life in the 21st century.

Objectives This vision is underpinned by the five ICT in Learning Objectives: • Change the culture of the use of ICT • Improve confidence in the use of ICT • Promote new behaviours for teaching using ICT • Deepen parental engagement • Strengthen the position on hardware and infrastructure The objectives will not be fully met by the GLOW work alone ICT in LEARNING PROGRAMME Each element has value in it’s own right but it’s the sum of the parts that will make the biggest difference Operating Conditions GLOW Enhancing Teaching Enriching Learning
