  2. What is this site? • This website is a digital library about the book A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. • This site is a companion for readers of the book, so you will get more out of your reading experience.

This whole site is full of resources that can help you get more out of reading the book A Suitable Boy. • The book is complex, thoroughly researched, long, and full of specifically Indian people, places, and things. Unless you know a lot about India you’ll probably wish there were footnotes.
