Our Menu • What: 6-Day Cycle Menu • Where: Nursing home for the Elderly • Who: Clients are Nursing home residents, who cannot be on any special diets. • How: Spoken menu which is laminated and carried by dietetic technicians that go to patients rooms prior to meals. Choices are circled and reported by the technician.

  4. Staple Choices • Breakfast • Outside of entrée choices, cold cereals, oatmeal, and grits will be made available everyday. • Lunch • Also available will be a choice of a sandwich and the soup of the day. • Dinner • With the main meal, the soup of the day or a dinner salad is always available. • Each day will have an original soup of the day • A new muffin will also always be available all day • Drink Choices will always remain the same

Day 1 & 2 DAY 1 Breakfast: Whole wheat pancakes with syrup Yogurt and fruit Eggs, and Bacon or Sausage Lunch: Beef Barley stew with cornbread Spiced sweet potatoes Peas or Corn Roll Dinner: Honey Glazed BBQ Chicken Brown Rice Marinated Green Beans Fresh Fruit with Honey Mint Lime Mashed Potatoes Oatmeal Cookie LNS: Whole wheat pita bread with Hummus or Mango Salsa Mozzarella Stick DAY 2 Breakfast: French Toast with Maple Syrup Strawberries Milk Lunch: Fish and Chips (potato wedges) Bread Milk Dinner: Vegetable Stir Fry Noodles Fruit Juice LNS: Ice Cream Fresh Fruit

Day 3 & 4 Day 4 Breakfast: Breakfast Burrito Hash Browns Oatmeal, Cereal, Muffins, or Fruit Lunch: Chili Cornbread Dinner Salad or Corn chowder with Grilled Cheese Dinner: Fish Sticks Green Beans Coleslaw Fruit Cup Roll LNS: Vanilla Pudding Parfait Fruit DAY 3 Breakfast: Egg, Sausage and cheesy hash brown casserole Fruit Salad or Oatmeal, Cereal, Muffin and Fruit Lunch: Honey Ham Pita Potato Salad Apple Sauce Dinner: Roasted Turkey Dinner Creamy Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Green Beans Whole Wheat Roll with Honey Butter Pumpkin Pie LNS: Chocolate Pudding with Cool Whip

Day 5 & 6 DAY 5 Breakfast: Ham, tomato and cheese omelette Potatoes O’ Brien Grapefruit or Oatmeal, Cereal, Muffin and Fruit Lunch: Spaghetti and Meatballs in Tomato Sauce Toasted Garlic Bread Fruit Cocktail or Clam Chowder with Chicken Salad on Wheat Dinner: Pot Roast with Carrots and Onions Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Green Salad Brownie and Ice Cream sundaes LNS: Peach slices with fresh cream Wheat Bread with margarine DAY 6 Breakfast: Yogurt and toast Fresh Fruit Milk Lunch: Pulled Pork Enchiladas Dinner Salad Dinner: Spanish Rice with Hamburger Green Beans Roll LNS: Popcorn Fruit Juice
