Introduction • Problem Analysis - Time spent studying on a daily and weekly basis - Management for four classes and one lab • Hypothesis - Most work and study done on weekends - Increased study time during quiz/exam - Most time spent for IME301 and about equal for all other classes • Data Collection - 5 weeks, day of the week, study time - Subject, type of study, place

  5. Total number of observations in Hours = 187 Mean = 1.47594 Standard Deviation = 0.933665 Minimum = 0.5 Maximum = 5 Range = 4.5 Median = 1, Q1 = 1, Q3 = 2

Conclusion • Hypothesis is mostly true. • Frequent study on Wednesdays and weekends at home • Fair study time distribution for other days of the week • More study/work during quizzes/exam/project period • Excessive time spent on MFE380 lab reports • Most time spent studying IME301 • About equal study time for IME239 and RS301
