  1. Potomac Nationals Military Appreciation Day Honors Soldiers and Veterans 1888PressRelease - The Potomac Nationals Military Appreciation Day will not only honor soldiers and veterans, but will also highlight hometown heroes. The Heroes Alliance Network and the Heroes Alliance Network for the Dutiful (also known as the HAND) will have their official launch that night, with the goal of helping people who need it the most. Woodbridge, Va., − The Potomac Nationals Military Appreciation Day will not only honor soldiers and veterans, but will also highlight hometown heroes. The Heroes Alliance Network and the Heroes Alliance Network for the Dutiful (also known as the HAND) will have their official launch that night, with the goal of helping people who need it the most. The Military Appreciation Day will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, Va. The P-Nats host the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Chicago Cubs) on the final Sunday of the 2016 season. Heroes Media Group was formed last year to bridge the gap between current and former service members and the community. Their new foundation, the Heroes Alliance Network for the Dutiful (or The HAND) has been created to honor not only our military heroes but also the heroes in the local community. The HAND will be the focal point for community heroes such as law enforcement, firefighters, first-responders, educators, medical professionals, and clergy to use when other support organizations have exhausted their assets. "The HAND will be the foundation that lifts people up when they fall through the cracks," said Sam Cachola, former Marine and Chairman of the Heroes Alliance Foundation/Heroes Alliance Network for the Dutiful. "We have supported the P-Nats in the past and we are thrilled they have welcomed us in. The Military Appreciation Day will be a perfect backdrop for the launch of this important initiative." Reality Realty Professionals and Priority Financial will be key sponsors by providing camouflage-style jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off that night, and the proceeds will go to The HAND.

  2. Those two companies and other sponsors will be on hand to launch HAND. These include Representative Wittman's office, Find-A-Way Solutions, Life Time Family Wellness, Defense Health Agency, NERIUM, Safe Streets USA (an official ADT dealership), Olson Insurance Agency, the American Veterans Ball, Battle Field Resumes, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Camouflaged Sister, and Anne Peguero, a veteran and healthy living advocate. These companies and individuals will be interviewed and highlighted throughout the night by Heroes Media Group, the largest internet broadcast station in the country run by combat veterans. The group will be broadcasting these segments live throughout the night. "All those who participate will have the opportunity to discuss why supporting community heroes is their passion as well as enlightening all on how their products and services will better serve the community heroes' needs," said Cachola. "We wanted to recognize the abundance of local military members and their families in the area and thank them for all that they do for our country," said Potomac Nationals Marketing Executive, Ricky Goykin. "We're really proud of the businesses that stepped up to support this cause. Reality Realty Professionals and Priority Financial in particular have been long-term partners with the Potomac Nationals and we are excited to continue that partnership and highlight our military appreciation efforts."
