Rail Transportation • A few coastal high-speed passenger and cargo railways are now under construction and will be in service in the next 1-2 year, making Xiamen a key rail hub in Southeast China. • The biggest railway goods yard in South China, Qianchang Railway Goods Yard, started the construction in 2008. • Closely connected with Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta economic zones. It takes only 3 hours to Shenzhen and 6 hours to Shanghai by rail.
