  3. What’s inside FNSA’s bylaws? • The four“areas of conformity” • Purpose and Function • Membership • Dues • Representation • Requirements to become a constituent of FNSA • Outlined duties of all officers and consultants • Committees and special liaisons • And more…!

What should be in your school’s bylaws? • The four“areas of conformity” outlined by FNSA • Purpose and function • Membership • Dues • Representation • Any information required by your school in order to be incompliance with your school’s policies • Make a point to review your bylaws every year—try to make a set time • Starting a New Chapter handout

There’s even a bylaw template! • www.fnsa.net • Click on “About FNSA” • Then, click on “Bylaws” • “Bylaws: School Template” • Red wording: meant to be replaced; there will be more necessary changes • Italic-bolded words: suggested by NSNA, but are not required. • May be altered in whatever way needed to create the best bylaw format for your school.

  6. FNSA Constituency Form • Required in order to be a constituent of FNSA • Due October 5th if attending convention (prefer electronic copy) • If not represented, due no later than November 10th, 2012
