  3. 1. Before you leave • Register with your host university: who/what/where/how? DEADLINES!! • Register as an Erasmus scholarship applicant at IO (or SNUF for non-European destinations) • Make sure your LA is co-signed by your host university for Erasmus scholarship eligibility (Sometimes only possible after arrival. If so what to do?)

  4. 1. Before you leave 4. Change courses? Get permission from Examination Board! 5. Valid ID? International health insurance? Liability insurance? 6. Important documents? Scan them! 7. Public transportation card? Cancel it using the application form or at a charging station

  5. 2. When you’re abroad • Host university rules? Learn them! • Change Learning Agreement? Use the Change Form! (2nd page LA).Download it on IMO website oruseon of host university. Sign, have itsignedby host university and send to IMO. • Special circumstances? Notify host university and IMO.

  6. 2. When you’re abroad 4. Download ‘Tips and Guidelines for your stay abroad’ (www.ru.nl/fm/imo > OUTGOING STUDENTS) 5. Blog? Link to IMO! 6. Make sure you get enough academic credits!

  7. 3. Before you come back • Have host university sign & stamp the Study Statements Form for your Erasmus scholarship • Check where your transcript is being sent. If you have a choice, have it sent to IMO.

  8. 4. When you’re back • Submit your Study Statements Form to the Central IO and upload your report. • Receivedyour transcript yourself? Send a copy to IMO so they canprocess your marks.
