  2. El neoclasicismo comienza a surgir junto al movimiento Rococó en el siglo XIII. Aparece con un deseo consciente de imitar a la cultura romana. Surge por el agotamiento de formas decorativas del Rococó

  3. Arquitectura • Se caracterizó por la simetría, la elegancia y la sobriedad, el empleo de un solo orden (jónico, dórico o corintio), el gusto por los arcos de triunfos y columnas conmemorativas.

  4. Escultura • Centran su interés en los ideales estéticos y los procedimientos de la estatuaria antigua.

  5. Pintura • Los pintores, reprodujeron los principales hechos de la revolución y exaltaron los mitos romanos. ‘’La fuente’’, obra de Ingres.
