  4. Look at the eligible TEKS on TEA’s website. Each Readiness Standard will have 3-4 questions pertaining to it on STAAR. Each Supporting Standard will have 0-1.

  5. Underlying Processes and Mathematical Tools These skills will not be listed under a separate reporting category. Instead, they will be incorporated into at least 75% of the test questions in reporting categories 1-5 and will be identified along with content standards. 7.13ABCD; 7.14A; 7.15AB

  17. CREATING AN ASSESSMENT 2 – Click on Administer Tests 1 – Click on Manage Tab 3 – Click on Create a Test

  18. 1 – Click on Create a new blank test 2 – Click on Next

  19. 1 – Fill in 2 – Click on Next

  20. 1 – Choose at least one campus (if you have multiple campuses to choose from…if not, skip this slide) 2 – Click on Next

  21. 1 - Select Course: • Middle School • Mathematics • Mathematics, Grade 7 2 – Click on Next

  22. Click on Finish

  23. 1 3 4 – Be patient as it searches for all the questions in the item bank 2

  24. To view test item To add item to test

  25. When you have finished adding questions to the test, click on Close

  26. Make sure griddables are moved to the very end of the test.

  34. K I L L E E N I S D Touch LCD Panel – literally. It will wake up once you touch it (as long as it is powered on, that is).

  35. You will have to wait a few seconds while it pulls up information.

  37. Building number MUST be entered as a 3-digit number. Use leading zeros if your campus number contains less than 3 digits. 1 2

  39. 1 Select the periods for which answer documents are to be printed 2

  40. Just click on next if you want an answer document to print for each student in the period. The default is already to select all students in the period chosen. You may deselect all and select individual students, if desired.

  41. If you want numeric griddables, chose this one (or one of the top three for elem/MS). If you do not want griddables and only want multiple choice questions, chose this one.
