  3. Reading Probes • What are they? • 1 minute timed grade level readings • Why do Reading Probes? -to evaluate reading fluency, which goes hand in hand with comprehension • When do we do them? -in the middle of each month

  4. Writing Probes • What are they? -They are a 5 minute timed writing with various prompts • Why do we give them? -To give teachers a quick glimpse at where the student needs attention • When do we give them? -We give them at the middle and end of each quarter

  5. Saxon Math • Morning Meeting Board • Homework • Assessments/Tests

  6. Science/Social Studies • Used in a format similar to Guided Reading. • There will be home projects to complete at least 1/nine weeks. • Social Studies is based on communities • Unit Tests

  7. Miscellaneous • Grab and Go Breakfast • Book-It • Weekly Progress Reports • Book orders • Any other questions
