  16. Things to check • What’s in the background. Flags coming out of someone’s head is not an attractive look. • Is the ISO set correctly? • Are you shooting into the sun? • Hats on or off? If it’s a Cub Scout hat or any hat with a brim, look out for the shadow and find a way to eliminate it.

  17. Photo editing top 4 If possible use Adobe Photoshop, Corel Photopaint, MS Office Picture Manager, etc • Crop – faces, head, shoulders, context • Brightness & Contrast • Red-eye • Color saturation
