  1. Logistics • Collaboration Wiki (Peter Yim, CIM3, and Susan Turnbull, GSA): • http://colab.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?SOAforEGovernment_2006_10_3031 • Presentors please call out slide numbers. • Telecon: • Remote access: Conference numbers (8 a.m - 5 p.m both days) - Toll Free: 1-866-648-7367; Washington, DC Area: 703-983-6338; Boston, MA Area: 781-271-6338; and passcode for specific session you are participating in: • The code for the main auditorium sessions on both days is: 43210 • The code for the tutorials on 31 October is: 7007 • The code for the breakout presentations on 31 October is: 504504 • Overseas callers will need to call the DC or Boston number. • Note: See next two slides for more details. • Security: • MITRE escort required outside the conference area. • You must turn in your badge when leaving the building. • Breaks and Lunch: • Atrium and MITRE Cafeteria, respectively.

  2. More Details • IMPORTANT NOTE 1: For those of you calling in by telephone PLEASE mute your phones when you are not intending to speak. Also, PLEASE do not place your telephone line on hold, because some phone systems will play "music" when you do so. • IMPORTANT NOTE 2: Based on our experiences with telephone callers in previous conferences, we still find that we get undesirable background sounds and side chat from those who call in. This interferes with the conduct of the conference. The result is that the AV crew mutes all teleconference callers until the end of each speaker's presentation, when we open up for questions from the audience (wherever they may be).

  3. More Details • IMPORTANT NOTE 3: We will also be using a shared screen feature of our MeetingPlace remote access capability for this event. You will be able to see the presentations and progression from slide to slide, and listen through your web browser. Here's info about how to access this feature: • TO ATTEND THE WEB CONFERENCE AND THEN JOIN WITH AUDIO: Go to: http://audioconference.mitre.org. Sign in as a Guest or with your MITRE MeetingPlace User ID, and click on Attend Meeting. • Accept any security warnings you receive and wait for the Meeting Room to initialize. • TEST YOUR BROWSER BEFORE YOU ATTEND YOUR FIRST WEB CONFERENCE: • Visit http://audioconference.mitre.org/test/ to test your web browser for compatibility with the web conference. • IMPORTANT NOTE 4: The MeetingPlace telephone call-in and the shared screen capability will be initiated no later than 8:15 am each day. In any case, our fallback is for remote participants to call the telephone conference number listed above and then follow along with the briefings on the conference agenda web site. (FYI only for those within MITRE: This conference will be videostreamed (again, only within MITRE) at MII Fast Jump: MMC.) • IMPORTANT NOTE 5: If you have any questions or problems, please call Rick Tucker, Senior Principal Enterprise Architect, MITRE, on his cell 703-216-0610. We will not be able to monitor the messages sent online within the MeetingPlace web application.
