Community Strategy on Occupational Safety and Health • Agency develop “Risk Observer” for new and • emerging risks – Europe´s “watch out tower” • for future OSH challenges to the workforce • Continue development of Topic Centre • Research activities in parallel  • Agency is the EU body for dissemination of • OSH information and results, including Research  • Networking and information exchange and • dissemination hosted by the • global OSH portal

  6. Aim of today’s information meeting (I) • Bring together European OSH research institutes in one place at one time with key Commission players in the Research field • “Expressions of Interest”– fair degree of support for OSH projects – e.g. your EoIs

  7. Aim of today’s information meeting (II) • opportunity for networking ready for • “Call for Proposals” (starting December) • opportunity to be informed by Commission officials on the state of play in OSH research possibilities • assess main areas of research interest and next steps (timetable for action)
