Web pages do not always give page numbers… What then? • APA rules for in-text citation • Count the number of paragraphs from the beginning of the web document to the location of reference or quotation • Use the ¶ symbol in the citation to indicate that paragraphs are counted Example: On his webpage, Miele (1993, ¶ #12) confirmed the “placebo effect” when studying the behavior of his subjects.
