  7. Audience Analysis • Why is it important to know about your audience --- your students? • You can plan instruction better. • You can meet their needs. • You can motivate them. • You can help them learn.

  8. What you need to know… • Entry behaviors • Prior knowledge • Attitudes toward content and you • Academic motivation • Educational ability and levels • General learning preferences • Group characteristics

  9. Welcome video • Short 4-5 minutes • Get their Attention • Make it Relevant • Make them feel Confident • Make them feel Satisfied
