  1. NEXGARD & BRAVECTO - OVERVIEW Nexgard Bravecto A beef-flavored chew for 8 weeks and older puppies and dogs that weigh at least 4lbs. It protects against fleas and tick for one month. A long-lasting tasty flavored chew for 6 months and older puppies and dogs that weigh at least 4.4lbs. It protects against fleas and tick for three month.

  2. SIMILARITIES Flavored Chew Both treatments are formed in a flavored chewable form. Mode of administration Both treatments should be given orally for chewing. They can also be mixed with dog foods. Flea protection Kills adult fleas and are useful in the prevention of flea infestations. Tick protection Useful in the control of black-legged tick, American dog tick, lone star tick, brown dog tick, and long horned tick infestations.

  3. DIFFERENCE Dog age Minimum dog age for the use of Nexgard is 8 weeks, whereas it is 6 months for Bravecto. Minimum dog weight Nexgard should be giveb to dogs that weigh at least 4lbs and Bravecto is indicated for dogs weighing 4.4 lbs or more. Durability Nexgard protects against fleas and ticks for one month. Bravecto protects for up to 12 weeks against fleas and ticks. Protection against Lyme Disease Nexgard is indicated for the prevention Lyme disease. Bravecto Chew is not known to protect against Lyme disease.
