  3. 1.] Get a collar with tags Get a secure collar with an attached name tag that is comfortable. You can also have your contact number written on the collar itself.

  4. 2.] Implant a Microchip Microchips have been beneficial as it contains the name of your pet and your contact information. It is a painless process and it would be there in their body for their entire life

  5. 3.] Teach Reliable Commands 'Come' and 'Stay' are two essential commands. It helps you stop them from running off the streets.

  6. 4.] Keep Your Pet on Leash Keep your pet on a leash to prevent them from bolting out. Pick the right size according to recommended weight.

  7. 5.] Keep the Gates Closed Secure the yard gates before taking your pet out to play. Keep the fencing tall enough that your pet can't jump over it.
