  1. Offer Warm Clothing Clothing keeps them warm and protected during the harsh winter months. Make sure that your pet has enough space to breathe.

  2. Provide Insulated Shelter & Heated Bedding Make an insulated shelter in the form of an enclosed area. The door of shelter should be pointed away from the wind.

  3. Include Winter Grooming Routine Grooming your pet in winter is important as it will keep them comfortable, avoid skin problems and reduce shedding.

  4. Be watchful of heat seeking behavior Your pet will mostly stick to warm floors and carpets and avoid sitting on tiles. Making them feel cozy is extremely important.

  5. Keep an eye on their food intake The calorie requirement of an animal depends on their weight and coat type. Check with vet on how much you can feed your pet during winter.

  6. Do not offer them cold water and food Make sure you serve them warm water and food. Don't offer water and food that is cold or that is kept at room temperature.

  7. Make them exercise Exercise including running, playing and jumping will help to keep them active, healthy, and warm during the chilly winter days.
